Frequently asked questions
Why is tree planting a solution for carbon capture AND GLOBAL WARMING?
One of the most efficient, beautiful and cost effective ways to ‘capture carbon’ is by allowing plants to photosynthesize, thereby capturing carbon naturally. This is why we have chosen to promote the planting of trees. Our goal is to fund the planting of millions of trees 🙂 Isn’t it good to know that when you send a OneTree Card, you can plant a tree for them too?
Where are the trees planted and who plants them?
Our Partners, One Tree Planted is a USA based charity committed to planting trees in the USA, across three Canadian provinces, and in Mexico. Their projects restore forests in the wake of major wildfires; repair damage caused by industry and resource extraction; and support the endangered Southern Resident Orca of the Pacific Northwest.
Why do i have to forward the card to the recipient myself?
This method allows you to have the choice of sending your OneTree Card using email, text (if the recipient has a data cellular plan)
or through any messenger service including Facebook messenger, Whatsapp IM, Linkedin IM and more.
Our system helps avoid having your card end up in the ‘spam’ email folder of the recipient.
What happens if I don’t get my DIGITAL GREETING CARD or i send the OneTreecard via email and my recipient doesn’t receive it?
We strive to make sure our system works at all time but with technology, sometimes things go wrong. We suggest you take the link and try to send it through a different messaging delivery option. If you have not received your OneTree Card, please check your ‘spam’ or junk folder….it might be there. Otherwise, please email us at hello@oneonetreecard.com and we will figure out what may have gone wrong. You can also ask the recipient to check their spam folder…it might be there if it didn’t get delivered.
